The fruits of boredom!

About two weeks ago, I was bored. So I opened Photoshop and started playing around. Eventually, I ended up making this really nice rock texture, but aside from the fact that it looked nice, it was essentially not worth saving. So what better way to spice it up a bit than to add a logo!

So I did.

The UNSC in the Halo universe uses the same logo that appeared in numerous places in the Marathon universe. So that's kinda where this took off from. I made the logo, found a nice clean font, made the "UNSC" text, and then added those two starbursts since they appear in most of the offical places the logo is used in Halo. They also helped fill some rather empty space...

In my infinite boredom, I also came up with a backstory for the image. That story mostly consisted of the explaination that you'd find this in an underground complex. Somewhere that the construction crews didn't bother to fix up nicely with paneling, instead choosing to just leave the rock walls. That logo was then chipped out of the rock face.

Hey, it kinda looks like it...

I made an alternate version that took on the appearance of a computer terminal, but it really isn't worth showing.
